The single-family house was built in 1984 by the Tyrolean artist Prof. Herbert Danler as a residential and studio house. The planner, architect Mag.art Siegbert Haas, emphasized an ecological construction style with brick walls, wooden components, and lime-plastered facades. For 40 years, the building with an L-shaped floor plan remained largely unchanged, with only the addition of a winter garden in the northwest that offers views of the Stubai glaciers. In spring 2023, Heidi and Andreas Danler began to renovate the house in a gentle manner. The artist studio on the sloped northern side was redesigned for tourist use.
