The Zittrauerhof comes with a four-flower rating and is situated on 860m in the beautiful Gasteinertal, one of the Salzburger Land’s most popular holiday regions. The farm is quietly located down in the valley, surrounded by lush green meadows and magic forests. Thanks to its unique mountain world, the idyllic setting of Bad Hofgastein invites guests to unwind and take a break.

Feel at home at our certified children’s farm with its 3 bright apartments and the 2 generous guest rooms for up to 5 people. Not only families are cordially welcome here with us on the farm, nature-conscious couples or individuals will find a beautiful change to everyday life here as well. Become part of our farm life and actively pitch in when gathering herbs, feeding the animals or checking the fields.
Enjoy our rich breakfast buffet with farmer bread’s, fresh jam and our own fresh mountain milk in the morning. A kids’ stable for our small animals was only recently set up by our grandpa Hias and father Matthias and invites your children to pet, feed and play with our animals.
On the large playground your kids will not be bored: Whether fast-paced go carts, our trampoline or the flying fox.

Whether hiking, cycling, climbing or skiing – there is nothing in the way of an active vacation, neither in summer, nor in winter.

Winter in Gastein
In winter you and your children can rent bobsleds and sliders to go tobogganing on the nearby slopes.

Summer in Gastein
Explore the nearby skiing and hiking area Schlossalm Angertal Stubnerkogel on 2.300m no matter what the season and enjoy perfect conditions for your trips. The following water fun is guaranteed by Gastein’s Alpentherme thermal spa.
