The apartment was beautiful and in a very good shape. We felt very at home there. Only two things were not ideal: The street outside was loud sometimes as it goes uphill and the vehicles need to accelerate and some of the dishes were a bit dirty. however, there is a dishwasher, so it was not a big issue. The check-in etc were smooth and we were allowed to store our luggage at the key pickup place until we left.
We had to go to an office to check in and get a physical key. We were able to leave our bags in the office while we walked across the street to have a very nice lunch on the terrace with a spectacular view of the beach. After that, check-in was pretty easy, and the walk to the apartment took about 7 or 8 minutes.The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood very close to a main thoroughfare to the beach. There is a new brunch/bakery/lunch cafe directly across the street that offers tasty fresh fare and good coffee. We were easily able to walk to the Catedral del Buen Pastor and the restaurants near there. The beach was also a nice, simple walk away. Although Old Town San Sebastian and the river are a little farther away, they're still nice walks and not too hilly. The apartment is located up a slight hill, though.The inside of the apartment, though small, is modern. The water pressure was good and the shower got hot. The paint on the inside of the front door is badly peeling & needs some work. The appliances are nice, but we used only the refrigerator and the clothes washer. Although I had asked a few times if there were a clothes dryer, I never received a response. The answer is that there is not, but a drying rack is located in the storage room on the balcony.The unit does have air conditioning, though it cools mainly the living room/kitchen. There is an oscillating fan in the bedroom and that was mostly sufficient.The bed is quite firm but we were able to sleep.

The place is located in a fairly quiet, uninteresting neighborhood about a 14 minute walk away from central San Sebastian, a 17 minute walk to the Old Town, a 10 minute walk to Playa La Concha, and a 21 minute walk to Playa La Zurriola. We like to walk, so the location was perfect. The unit itself is minimalistic - only the most essential amenities were present. Except for a few minor issues with the unit, for example, paint chipping from the inside of the front door, a screw coming out of the door's locking mechanism, a rusted outdoor table, a used COVID mask under a piece of furniture, and a frayed, stained kitchen towel, the place was relatively clean. Communication before and during the stay was quick and curt.
Awesome location, easy check in, great property. Had everything we needed for our stay, even humidifiers for the dry air. It is an apartment-style building, so noise is expected. Would stay again!
