In the small, well-maintained vineyard, 3 km from the mediaeval village of Montecatini VC and just 25 km from the sea, there is a single-level 2-4 person apartment in the second house. It contains 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with double sink, well furnished eat-in kitchen with direct access to the large arbour overgrown with grapes with magnificent view into the valley and over the surrounding hills. Dining table, deck chairs and sun loungers. Pool 6 x 12 m.
The house can be rented for 2 or more people.

L'Aione offers a lot of comfort and quiet. Cooking and eating, making a pizza in the woodstove, grilling, enjoying a glass of wine with friends, reading at the pool or playing boules for fun, there are so many activities.

Anreise

Highway Genoa-Livorno-Cecina north, then towards Volterra to Ponteginori. After the village, the road forks to the left to Montecatini Val di Cecina.

Wir waren als Familie mit unseren 2 Teenager Jungs in der 2-4 Personen Ferienwohnung. In diesem Haus gibt es hinten noch eine Wohnung, wovon man aber wirklich überhaupt nichts mitbekommt. Nebenan (aber mit genügend Abstand)ist noch ein großes Haus für bis zu 8 Personen, welches bei unserem Aufenthalt nur mit 4 Personen belegt war. Das ganze Gelände ist so weitläufig, dass man wirklich seine Privatsphäre hat. Auch am Pool , der übrigens eine fantastische Aussicht hat. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet, vorallem auch die Küche. Man hat eine große herrliche Terrasse.
Es ist wirklich wie im Paradies dort. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.
Auch Stefano, der Verwalter ist so ein netter, herzensguter Mensch, der sich bei Fragen/Anliegen rührend um ein kümmert.
