Great cabin with a panoramic view of the beautiful lake Skarvannet. New cabin with sauna and room for 10 people. The cabin has 4 bedrooms on the ground floor as well as 1 bedroom with several beds and a playroom with TV on the first floor. The bedroom upstairs (forst floor) has sloping walls and a maximum ceiling height of 195cm. There is an open kitchen/living room with a cooking island and a fantastic panoramic view of the lake. Living room with fireplace and TV. Two bathrooms with rain shower and a guest toilet. Electric car charger available. Free internet. The comfortable cabin is quietly located in the Norwegian countryside at the top of a cabin field, not far from the sea. On the large terrace you can enjoy the sun all day. The cabin is perfect for extended family or friends. There is a beach at Skarvannet not far from the cabin where you can relax, swim, and watch the children play. The Øysang ferry, 3 km away, takes you safely to Risør, the white town by the Skagerak with many festivals and events. In the summer, there are concerts on Stangholmen, a small island in front of the town. Try a boat taxi to get there! At Øysang, you can also hire a boat to explore the fjord and for exciting fishing trips. In winter, there are great opportunities for ice skating and ice fishing both on Skarvannet and the fjord, and cross-country skiing on the illuminated track at Søndeled. Feel free to visit Vegårshei Ski and Activity Center (33 km) with ski lift and toboggan run, or just enjoy the lovely winter landscape. At Jegertunet holiday center (5 km) there is a restaurant, kiosk, and an interior shop as well as tennis courts and a large playground. At Stabbestad (24 km) there is a spa hotel and golf course as well as mini golf facilities, and also a beach club, harbor pool, and kayak hire on the fjord. “The Little Zoo” on Brokeland Heia with Norway's largest rainforest is not far away (24 km). A visit to the pleasant towns of Kragerø in the north and Tvedestrand in the south is also recommended.
