Cape Hella just below the holiday house has a 180-degree panoramic view of the Sognefjord and the mountain peaks in the area. You can also go glacier hiking, climbing, paddling or cycling. A visit to Kaupanger stave church (55 km away), built around the year 1140 and one of Norway's oldest stave churches, is recommended. The "Heibergske". Collections – Sogn folkemuseum" in Kaupanger has a wide selection of buildings and objects collected from a large area. Further inside the Sognefjord is Lærdal, 66 km and a ferry ride away from the holiday house, where you can find preserved wooden buildings in the Swiss style.
