This charming, modern, and stylishly furnished holiday home, with its direct view of the Schlei fjord and spacious layout, can accommodate up to 9 people.
The lovingly landscaped, south-facing garden, measuring 1700 m², is a paradise for children or your four-legged friend. The entire property is enclosed by a fence approximately one meter high. Enjoy the evening on one of the two terraces. Relax on one of the comfortable garden loungers and take in the view. Alternatively, you can stroll to the nearby Selker Noor – a tranquil side arm of the Schlei, perfect for stand-up paddleboarding.
In the evenings, cozy up in front of the antique wood-burning stove. A relaxing soak in the large triangular whirlpool (also lovely for two) with its direct water view is a must. Another highlight of the house is the cozy, separate sauna area with a Finnish sauna, river pebble shower, and relaxation room.
Thanks to fast fiber optic internet with 300 Mbps, you can stream movies or conduct video conferences smoothly and without any buffering.
On the ground floor, you'll find a large living and dining area with an adjoining south-facing terrace, a reading room with a comfortable XXL armchair and a fantastic view of the Schlei fjord and Schleswig with its cathedral, a guest WC, and the kitchen. From the kitchen, you can access the second terrace, which faces southeast and is ideal for enjoying your first cup of coffee in the morning.
From the hallway, you can reach the lower level, which features another bedroom with a large single bed (120x200cm) and a spacious, separate sauna area with a river pebble shower and a relaxation area with loungers. There is also a WC in the laundry room.
Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms with double beds. One of the bedrooms has a TV and a sofa bed (130cm sleeping area) that can accommodate two people. The other bedroom provides access to the sleeping loft with another double bed (160x200cm). The spacious bathroom, with its stunning view of the Schlei fjord from the triangular whirlpool tub, also features a large river pebble shower.
In addition to the carport with covered parking for two cars, the property includes a garage with numerous electrical outlets for charging e-bikes. The house is located only about an hour from Hamburg – ideal for spontaneous getaways.
Even outside the peak season, the house and its surroundings have much to offer: Whether you're looking for a few days of dedicated relaxation – alone or with friends – you can read, chill, listen to music, or simply go for a walk in the XXL armchair with its magnificent water views – with or without your dog. Afterwards, relax in the whirlpool tub overlooking the Schlei or in the sauna, and then cook together and enjoy a good wine.
You'll find lovely and cozy restaurants nearby. For example, the idyllic town of Eckernförde is just 20 minutes away, and a day trip to the beaches of Sylt is easily possible – it's only 50-60 minutes from the house to Niebüll, where you can catch the train to Sylt. There's a golf course, horseback riding, and a sailing school in the summer, all within easy reach. The Schlei fjord and the tranquil Selker Noor lake are perfect for stand-up paddleboarding. Children will love the nearby Tolkschau amusement park and the Haithabu open-air museum with its Viking museum. Excellent shopping is available in Schleswig (10 minutes by car). Stylish Eckernförde, with its charming shops and restaurants, is a convenient 20-minute drive away, Flensburg and the Baltic Sea are 30 minutes away, and Hamburg can be reached in about an hour.
