The spacious holiday home has a total of 5 to 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, a living room, a kitchen-diner, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and can easily accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. An enclosed wood-burning stove in the spacious living-dining area on the ground floor ensures a cosy atmosphere and the extendable dining table has space enough to sit up to 10 guests allowing you to enjoy a comfortable evening meal with your family and/or friends. In good weather you may choose to have your breakfast on the large and spacious terrace and enjoy the warmth of the morning sun. Five/six bedrooms are available to you with a total of six 90x200 single beds, three 140x200 beds and 1 double bed with two 90x200 mattresses. The two kitchens are fully equipped with microwave ovens, toasters, coffee machines etc. The large separate kitchen on the ground floor also has a dishwasher. Both living rooms (the basement one is often used as a 6th bedroom) have smart/satellite TVs and a DVD/video player is provided in the ground floor room. Books and games along with a variety of DVDs are suited to both adults and children alike.

Our cancellation policy is as follows.
If you need to cancel your holiday we understand you will have good reasons but please tell us if possible as early as possible. It then gives us the possibility to find new guests for the period you booked and we will pay any monies paid to us back to you.
If we are unable to fill the period you booked we reserve the right to charge you the whole amount.
We advise therefore to take out a travel insurance to be on the safe side.

This holiday house is very popular with our holiday guests. So, don't hesitate too long so that we can also welcome you to "At the Heart of Nature" soon.
For many years we hosted social groups. Many groups were really good, they were very satisfied and came back regularly.
Unfortunately, more recently after some groups left, we had so much restoration and preparation work that we decided not to accept such groups anymore.
For 4 people the whole house costs €165.00 per night.
Each additional person pays only an additional €13.00 per night
We charge a one-time cleaning fee of €120.00
Please note that we are very reluctant to rent the house for 5 nights or fewer during school holidays / high season. However, in some cases exceptions can be made and in which case a booking of 5 nights or fewer will incur a one-time short-term guest fee of €50.00 (which is not calculated here on this site!) Few holiday home owners are willing to rent out their homes for a weekend or a few days. It is just too much work and blocks the week. We ask for your understanding.
A price example: a family of 10 people for 7 nights:
€165.00 for the first 4 persons and then +€13.00 (5), +€13.00 (6), +€13.00 (7), +€13.00 (8), +€13.00 (9) , +€13.00 (10).
Sum: €243.00 per night x 7 nights = €1,781.00 +€120.00 for the cleaning.
The price is inclusive of all applicable taxes, the use of heating oil, water, electricity and wood for the Swedish oven (in winter).
Anreise
Follow the signs to Großschönach/Kleinschönach from Herdwangen. After approx. 4 km, you will see the road sign for Stockfeld, which is on the left, approx. 500 metres from Kleinschönach. Turn left into the upper road (the one immediately past the turn-off for forest parking). After about 50m you will see your holiday home "At the heart of Nature" on the right-hand side.

Super schoenes Ferienhaus
Das Haus hat Mega viel Platz gehabt und die Umgebung ist super toll. Zum spielen für die Kinder ist reichlich da und das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten es schoenes Wetter nur leider jeden Tag über 30 Grad . Ein Pool ware nocht der gipfel gewesen aber wir konnten unseren mitgebrachten Pool zum Aufpumpen aufstellen.
Vilen Dank liebe Famile Brown dass sie uns das ermöglichen konnten einen wunderschönen Urlaub machen zu dürfen .

Tolle Ferienhaus.Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man brauchen könnte.Sehr nette Vermieter. Sehr schöne Terasse und umgebung. Man fühlte sich gleich wohl als man das Haus betrat.Wir kommen wieder:)

vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Es tut uns wegen den Betten Leid. Die 12 Betten waren in 2011 alle neu, aber das ist ein paar Jährchen her und, da wir nie im Ferienhaus geschlafen haben, haben wir nicht gewusst, dass ein Paar quietschen. Wir werden die Betten, die quietschen sofort ersetzen. Wir freuen uns, dass sie trotzdem eine schöne Zeit gehabt haben und hoffen, falls Sie wieder in der Nähe vom Bodensee ein langes Wochenende mit Freunden verbringen möchten, dass Sie an uns denken.
