Beschreibung

The highlight of this charming old villa is its fantastic location above the beach of La Potinière. From the large garden and almost every room in the house you have a wonderful view of the sea and the offshore coastal area. Inside, the holiday home is furnished in a very simple and rustic way, but it offers enough comfort for a nice holiday in Normandy. The staircase and the walls of the corridor have not yet been renovated. On the walls are inscriptions, correspondences of the Americans during the war.
The large garden with its beautiful trees and barbecue area is an invitation to convivial outdoor meals. When you come back from the beach, the shower on the ground floor is particularly practical and it is precisely in high season that you will also appreciate the 3 parking spaces on your own land. The popular GR 233 hiking trail passes beneath the property and offers direct access to the white sandy beach below.

Das Haus hat wahrscheinlich den besten Ausblick an der ganzen Bucht. Der Garten ist riesig und am Strand ist man zu Fuß in zwei Minuten. Baden im Meer war auch Ende September noch angenehm. Das Haus selbst ist alt, was aber seinen besonderen Reiz ausmacht und befindet sich in Renovierung. Es ist also ( noch ) nicht alles perfekt, aber darüber waren wir informiert. Dennoch war alles da, was wir brauchten, sehr schnelles Internet ( geht allerdings nur im EG, weiter oben wird schwierig ), gut ausgestattete Küche, Wäschekeller... Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
