Our holiday home Elsa is located in Nisterau, a pretty village about 2 km away from the spa town Bad Marienberg.

From the motorway exits Limburg, Montabaur and Herborn you drive about 25 to 30 km to the holiday home.




The entrance to the house is at ground level and inside there is only a low step.
A beautiful roofed terrace with seat and grill possibility invites you to relax.
In the house you will find a cosy living-dining room with a sofa bed for one person, a small completely equipped kitchen,
a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with washbasin toilet and a bath with shower enclosure.



The quiet location on the outskirts of the village allows a pleasant and relaxing stay.
Access to walking and cycling paths is within easy reach at the beginning of a nature reserve with a beautiful stream, basalt lake (no bathing lake) and a quarry.
Numerous other leisure activities can be found in the immediate vicinity.
Bad Marienberg offers a very beautiful game park with a lookout tower, a large children's playground, a very well developed climbing forest, a fitness trail and good gastronomy.

You also have the possibility to play mini golf, walk barefoot or visit the leisure pool with sauna village.
In winter, a ski lift and cross-country skiing tracks are inviting.
Further ski lifts are in Kirburg about 5 km away and in Höhn about 6 km away. Golfers also get their money's worth, in Stahlhofen on the Wiesensee (bathing lake) approx. 11 km away, a well-kept 18-hole golf course invites you to actively relax.
A visit to a cinema and a tour of a beautiful old town with a castle is possible in Hachenburg, about 15 km away.
Not far from Hachenburg, a visit to the Marienstatt Monastery with its adjacent beer garden, brewery and numerous hiking trails is also tempting.

We also welcome your four-legged or feathered family members as long as they do not use the beds and upholstered furniture. We do not charge a daily rate for you, only a flat rate of 20 euros for the whole stay.
