Bleckhausen is situated on a hill in the midst of the Vulkaneifel between Daun and Manderscheid. Explore the Eifel landscape on relaxing walks, extensive hikes, or cycling tours. The Maare - small lakes of volcanic origin - invite not only for walking or fishing but also for swimming.

In the immediate vicinity of our house, you will find the hiking trails Lieserpfad and Eifelsteig, the Maare-Mosel cycle path and the Cosmos cycle path. Right in front of our house, mountain bikers can find well-marked MTB trails. A children's playground is also nearby.

Thanks to the central location of our village, you will find worthwhile excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Eifel Maare, cold water geyser "Wallender Born", waterfall "Dreimühlen", Manderscheid castles, Kasselburg with wildlife park, animal park in Daun, Maar museums and many other attractions.

Worthwhile day trips include the ancient Roman city of Trier, Koblenz, the adventure world Nürburgring with racetrack, the wine-growing regions of Mosel and Ahr, Luxembourg.
