Ecologie Grundlsee is an ecological hideaway on the sunny side of the Ausseerland, between Grundlsee and Altaussee. It was built on the foundation of a century-old stable building with great attention to detail.
In the construction, as well as in the operation, circular economy and appreciative use of resources are the highest principle. The operation with energy from the sun and wood is >90% energy self-sufficient in real time over the course of the year. In total, the operation produces more energy than it consumes. There is still a three-phase emergency power supply for the case of emergency.
The 8 cozy apartments for 2-5 people offer an excellent base forexploring the Ausseerland. Around the house there are several terraces and all kinds of herbs and garden delicacies to discover and snack on.
For guests arriving by public transport, there is free transfer service for arrival and departure, from Bad Aussee train station and free rental mountain bikes. High-speed internet, parking and type 2 e-car charging stations are also available.
Overnight stay is possible with or without a daily organic breakfast box with changing content.
