Designer one-bedroom apartment with balcony close to Torre Coronata, in the ancient Jewish Quarter.
This apartment, located on the first floor of a building with a lift, is tastefully furnished with a minimal style. The living area is an open space with a sofa and a double sofa bed, together with an open plan and well-equipped kitchen provided with a dining area. The bedroom comes with a queen size bed, a wardrobe and a TV. A full bathroom with a large shower completes the apartment. At guests’ disposal there are comforts such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating.
*Please be informed that the city centre is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colours characterising its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theatres, characterised by almost 40 kms of porticoes. In the city centre there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.

Good location but pricey for what you get
Wonderful Italy manage this flat which is one of many on their portfolio. The location is perfect - in a spotless modern block on the first floor with lift and easy stairs and very reassuring triple door code entry system. 20 minutes direct walk from the railway station. It is 5 minutes from the twin towers and has a really good coop at the street corner with smashing trattoria opposite there and good bars of all sorts near by. Despite this the actual street is quiet and charming with very little street noise. We easily checked in at 3pm which was very convenient and were met by a nice employee of wonderful Italy to explain and show us the flat. I appreciated the different duvet thicknesses that were available in the cupboards to suit the temperature. We were there late September and needed more than a sheet. The style is basic and rental anonymous, but comfortable and clean. We thought it relatively expensive compared to other towns nearby but that is perhaps a feature of the popularity of Bologna. We would stay there again. Strangely there was pounding music twice in the early evenings presumably from another flat but total silence overnight so it was fine.

Perfect apartment to stay in Bologna, even for a longer period of time. I was there for work and it was very spacious and comfortable with anything you might have needed. The terrace is an incredible space and I think particularly enjoyable for the summer period. The guys at Wonderful Italy were pretty good at communicating and were really patient with my unexpected delay during check-in. Would def book again!
