Modernly furnished terraced bungalow in a family-run holiday complex, quietly on the edge of the forest and in a fantastic location directly on Lake Groß Labenz, one of the cleanest and most fish-rich lakes in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The large communal property is only separated from the lake by a traffic-calmed road with a beautiful swimming area and snack bar. Enjoy your breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace and then look forward to wonderful hours on and by the water or discover the seemingly endless forests of the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park. Upon request and for a fee, depending on availability, you can rent rowing boats and SUPs, as well as an electric grill at the reception in addition to a fire bowl with wood for cozy evenings (EUR 5 per day.)

The Groß Labenz Lake is located near Warin, northeast of Schwerin in the middle of a Natura 2000 landscape protection area. Here you can perfectly combine nature, sport, swimming and culture during your holiday. In nearby Warin, stroll through the streets and treat yourself to a delicious fish dish or other local specialties in one of the restaurants. On your excursions, you can also discover the easily accessible cities of Schwerin, Wismar, Güstrow and Rostock.

Activities nearby: There are other excellent fishing lakes in the immediate vicinity as well as private fishing ponds approx. 1.5 km away. The Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, the Warnow, the Groß Labenz Lake and the many forests and meadows are ideal starting points for hikes, bike tours and various water sports options. Due to the central location in the heart of Mecklenburg, both the Baltic Sea and Schwerin or Wismar can be reached in 20 minutes. It takes less than 45 minutes to Rostock and even day trips to Lübeck, Hamburg or Berlin are no problem.
