4-Cancellation
4.1. The lead tenant is entitled to cancel a booking in writing, without any costs, within 8 days of signing the agreement, unless the stay at the chalet is within one month of signing.
4.2. After the period mentioned in 4.1, the tenant is only entitled to cancel in writing with the agreement to the following cancellation fees: a) if canceled 6 weeks before the day of arrival: 30% of the invoice b) if canceled less than 6 weeks before the day of arrival: the full invoice, thus 100%
4.3. The cancellation of the booking by the (lead) tenant is also considered a cancellation for all (additional) tenants
4.4. A cancellation dated on a Saturday or Sunday or on a public holiday recognized in the Netherlands is considered a cancellation from the following working day
4.5. The cancellation of the agreement (as described in 4.1. to 4.4) must be done by email with acknowledgment of receipt or by registered mail.
4.6. Olmenchalets does not offer cancellation insurance. Olmenchalets points out that it is possible to take out cancellation insurance with an external provider.

Urlaub mit Hund
Das Chalet ist bis auf das Wohnzimmer sehr klein und eng. Die Gastgeber sind sehr Hunde unfreundlich. Für einen Urlaub ohne Hund sicherlich geeignet. Mit Hund muss man darauf achten, dass keine Hundehaare in der Wohnung auftauchen, ansonsten gibt es im Nachhinein Ärger mit dem Vermieter. Aufgrund des beengten Wohnraumes und nicht vorhandene Möglichkeiten zur Reinigung (z. B. Staubsauger oder ähnliches) bleiben Hundehaare natürlich nicht aus. Der Garten war ebenfalls sehr ungepflegt und nicht den Fotos entsprechend.
Es tut uns sehr leid, dass Sie dies schreiben. In den Chalets, in denen Haustiere erlaubt sind, erhalten wir jedes Jahr viele Hunde. Fast jeder ist sich einig, dass ein Hund weder auf dem Bett noch auf der Couch erlaubt ist.
Nachdem Sie gegangen waren, waren alle Bettdecken mit Hundehaaren bedeckt. Es war klar, dass der Hund in den Schlafzimmern eingesperrt und auf die Betten gelegt worden war. Wir finden das ekelhaft und haben deshalb alle Betten gereinigt und die Kosten an Sie weitergegeben. Wir verstehen, dass Ihnen das nicht gefällt
