Washing machine and dryer. The apartment is equipped with a heat pump, which means it's wonderfully warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer. Brakestein is energy-neutral, as the energy is generated by solar panels on the barn. There is a bicycle shed for shared use.

There is a terrace at the front of the apartment and a private terrace in the shared garden at the back of the farm. The livestock area is not accessible.
