Large and spacious holiday house/fisherman’s cabin on sea plot in the center of Selje. View towards the beach Seljesanden. Final cleaning included in the price. On the lower floor of the cabin, there is a large living room with doors that can be opened to the sea. A combined living room and kitchen on the main floor, the living room on the first floor has a small kitchenette. 2 complete bathrooms and a toilet room just off the living room on the lower floor. Selje is known for idyllic and extreme nature with its contrasts; from a bustling folk life on Seljesanden in lovely, windless summer days to the brutal and stormy ocean Stadhavet during winter. 15 minutes with the monastery boat to Selje monasteries on an island with heather, marsh and some forest. The highest point on the island is Varden, 201 meters above sea level. On the island, there are ruins of a Benedictine monastery from the Middle Ages. 33 km by car to Vestkapp or Kjerringa, a mountain on the northwesternmost part of the Stad peninsula in Nordfjord, Vestland. Kjerringa towers 497 meters above the ocean and is considered the westernmost mountain plateau in Norway. Great fishing opportunities. Separate room for filleting fish with large freezer. 5 m to the boat berth. Boat for rent: 1x 21-foot Øien 620F with 60 HP Suzuki, GPS/chart plotter/sonar and 8 rod holders. NB! Several 21-foot boats can be rented on request at the same time you book the holiday home.
