Cozy family cabin in scenic surroundings at Ål in Hallingdal, located at 960 meters above sea level with a view of Hallingskarvet. Natural plot with fire pit, barbecue and lots of sun. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with bunk beds, as well as a loft with 2 additional beds, preferably for children. Bathroom with sauna, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cozy dining area and living room with wood stove. There is a TV monitor without channels but with a cable to connect via phone or PC. There is no internet in the holiday home. Please feel free to borrow games, magazines and books. Right outside the cabin, you can put on your cross-country skis and go straight onto fantastic cross-country ski trails, in a trail network that stretches from Bergsjø in the west to Torpo in the east. Short drive to Ål ski center (10 minutes) or Geilo (30 minutes). Ål ski center has snow cannons that always ensure 13 km of well-groomed slopes of varying difficulty. Ål is known for the Svarteberg slope, one of Norway's best giant slalom slopes. This is a route that both the men's and women's national alpine skiing teams have frequented. In addition, it is also one of Hallingdal's best slopes for beginners and children, with a free lift in the children's area. In the summer months, you can swim in warm mountain lakes or try trout fishing in the rivers. There are kilometers of nice gravel roads for hiking or cycling in the mountains.
