The environment around the sea and the pier is extremely popular with both tourists and locals. Vorupør is a holiday town where there is life all year round. Here you will find Denmark's first North Sea bath from 2014. Even the youngest guests can enjoy the fresh waves of the North Sea in a safe environment. The nearest larger town is Thisted, which is beautifully situated by the Limfjord. The city has a cozy pedestrian street and a rich selection of shops. A trip to Hanstholm with a visit to the Bunker Museum and the busy fishing port is always exciting. Within half an hour's drive you will find Jesperhus Flower Park. Within an hour's drive you can visit the open-air museum Hjerl Hede, the Coastal Center in Thyborøn or take an excursion to Denmark's 4th largest city Aalborg.
