Drivers can reach Nordstrand via the A23 from Hamburg. Past Heide, the motorway turns directly into the B5, which you follow towards Husum. Or coming from Hamburg via the A7, exit Schleswig-Schuby, take the B 201 towards Husum. Pass Husum, then towards Niebüll to Hattstedt, from there follow the signs to Nordstrand.
Arrival by train:
Daily InterCitys from Karlsruhe, Cologne, Dortmund and Dresden/Berlin to Husum. From Husum take the R140 bus (direction: Nordstrand ferry pier) to Nordstrand, almost to the front door (stop: Schuldweg).
