The cabin/holiday house is located by the owner’s farm, with a panoramic view of the picturesque lake Oldenvatnet. The holiday house has a spacious living room with a large brick fireplace and wood stove. Access to a small balcony. There is a small kitchen, 4 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower the holiday home. In the smallest bedroom there is a bunk bed for 2 people. By the entrance to there is a covered balcony with outdoor furniture. A sauna is offered for an extra payment (NOK 50 per time), extra shower, washing machine (NOK 25 per wash), and dryer (NOK 25 per round), which you will find in a new building next to the operations building. Activity room is shared with other cabins. Child-friendly swimming area down by Oldevannet, 125 meters from the holiday home. To experience silence and tranquility, use one of the many paths in the area up in the mountains, or rent a boat to take a trip on the water. Loen Skylift is one of the steepest cable cars in the world, and lifts people from the fjord in Loen to the mountain Hoven (1011 m) in five minutes. At the top is the Hoven Restaurant, where you get a 210 degree panoramic view towards Skåla and Lovatnet in the east, Jostedalsbreen and Olden in the south, and out the Nordfjord which meanders further towards Stryn in the west. From Hoven can you experience the high mountains on your own in an extensive trail network. It is only approx. 20 km from the holiday home to the car park at the Briksdalsbreen glacier. Take the trip to Vestkapp - Norway's westernmost point. Trout (record 14 kg) and char can be fished in Oldenvatnet. Salmon and trout in the Olden River. Smoker for hot smoking. 1x Canoe (3-4 pers.), NOK 100,- per day. Life jackets included.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, am Ufer des Sees und umgeben von wunderschönen Bergen, Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit beim Angeln und haben sogar das Kanu ausprobiert, Die nahegelegenen Wanderwege waren perfekt für unsere täglichen Ausflüge, Das Haus selbst war sauber und gut eingerichtet, obwohl es etwas veraltet war, Trotzdem hatte es alles, was wir brauchten, Wenn Sie nach Ruhe und Outdoor-Abenteuern suchen, ist dieser Ort ein Gewinner,

Die Lage ist einfach atemberaubend, Das Aufwachen mit dem Blick auf Oldenvatnet war ein Highlight unserer Reise, Wir schätzten auch die nahegelegenen Essensmöglichkeiten, insbesondere das Hoven-Restaurant mit seinen atemberaubenden Aussichten,
Wanderungen zum Briksdalsbreen, Brenndalsbreen und Kjenndalsbreen, In Loen sollte man auf jeden Fall mit dem SkyLift fahren, auch wenn die Fahrt ca, 100 ¬ kostet
Das Haus ist sehr schön, der Vermieter ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Landschaften sind fantastisch, aber einige Details machen es mir unangenehm, dieses Haus zu empfehlen. Erstens liegt das Haus mitten auf einem Bauernhof, also bereiten Sie sich darauf vor, darin einzutauchen Ein geschäftiges Leben der Einheimischen mit sehr begrenztem Platz für Kinder zum Spielen, wenn Sie mit Kindern reisen. Außerdem gibt es auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Sees einen Steinbruch, der während der Geschäftszeiten lästig sein kann und etwas ist, das Sie nicht sehen möchten in Ihrem Urlaub, Insgesamt würde ich dieses Haus wahrscheinlich nicht unbedingt weiterempfehlen, es sei denn, Sie reisen in einer Gruppe von 6-8 Personen, ansonsten ist das Haus zu teuer, es gibt viele Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung,
