A beautiful single story stone villa that has been totally restored to become the charming and comfortable home, in the spirit of Provence, that it is today. It has a professional maintained large private garden, large terrace & a free-form pool.
The owner now lives independently (90 sq mtr) at the far end of the (total 230 sq mtr) large villa. The terrace has a trellis, one side offers a larger area for guests, the other a smaller area for the owner. She will not be sharing your terrace nor the swimming pool. She (or her representative) will welcome you and give you an introduction to the property. After, if you need her, you will be able to either send her an e-mail, or phone her or send her an SMS message; otherwise you will see her or her representative on departure.

Les Alouettes has become our favorite place in France! You are a most thoughtful and generous host. Every moment of our stay here has been delightful. The location is ideal, an easy short walk to town, with its shops and many fine restaurants. An added plus are all the wineries close by and we certainly enjoyed the wonderful Rhone wines. We can't wait to come back, hopefully l'annee prochaine. Keep well.

Erholung und Genuss pur mitten in der Provence
Das vollständig ausgestattete und mit viel Herzblut renovierte Ferienhaus besticht durch seine perfekte Lage für Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren rund um den Mont Ventoux, als auch in die angrenzenden Weinregionen an der Rhone. Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin sehr herzlich empfangen und erhielten viele Informationen über die Umgebung. Das Haus und der große Garten mit schönem Pool laden zum ungestörten Verweilen ein. Das Ortszentrum mit vielen Restaurants , Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einem wöchentlichen Markt kann fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreicht werden. Wir können die Villa les Alouettes wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

A very good place to stay. The house is centrally located in Malaucene and is a very special home: Cozy and well-functioning and with many small details of an almost personal character. This makes the home a pleasant place to stay. The garden, which has a nice swimming pool, is well maintained and well furnished with many good living areas. There are not many vacation rentals on the market with the same personal and cozy character. A perfect place. Maybe the best vacation home we've ever been in. Our host, Maria, is a competent host. Friendly and welcoming and always ready if you need help. A top-notch resort.

We had a wonderful stay in Maria’s house. Although it’s close to the center of Malaucene (200m walking distance), we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful place. Maria made sure we had all we needed and she checked-in now and then whether we needed anything. Five stars stay!

More than a holiday home
This is more than a holiday home, this is a place you fall in love with instantly. The location is perfect: you can stroll right into the heart of Malaucène, with its charming terraces, but the moment you close the gate behind you, you're in your own little paradise. The garden is picture-perfect: every corner breathes care and love, and that swimming pool... pure luxury under the Provençal sun. But what makes this stay truly magical is that you can feel the heart and soul that has been poured into this place. Every detail is just right. And then there's Maria! Her hospitality and attention made our stay complete.

THE PERFECT HOLIDAY DESTINATION
We took a bit of a punt in choosing Les Alouettes and Malaucene for our 18-day holiday as we were not familiar with either. We were fantastically lucky with both. The house was beautifully equipped and a real home, full of character (a product of the fact that the Irish owner, Maria, had lived there until recently). It had all we needed. We particularly loved the coolness of the house (the weather was hot!), the beautifully shady terrace where we could read and eat comfortably and, for the sun lovers, the sunny terrace, garden and pool. Maria now lives next door and was on hand to explain anything about the house and the neighbourhood when we needed help. But she made it clear that she would only do that if asked. She respected our privacy completely - a lovely lady. The house was delightfully quiet – despite the fact it was close to the town. We were able to stroll into the centre in 5 minutes – to pick up baguettes and croissants in the morning, eat out at one of several restaurants in the evening (E22 was very typical for a good 3 course plat du jour in the evening) or watch the boules in festival week. The area is packed with beautiful historic buildings, lovely local villages and towns and wonderfully, hilly green countryside. We recommend Maria, Les Alouettes and Malaucene without hesitation!

In the event that a renter must cancel a reservation and provides me with a written notice at least eight weeks or more in advance of the rental date, all fees paid shall be refunded to the renter.
If the reservation is cancelled between eight and four weeks in advance of the rental start date, the renter shall receive a refund of 50% of the rental fees paid
If the notice of cancellation is received less than four weeks prior to the rental start date, the renter shall forfeit all rental payments.
