A charming and traditional French five-bedroom family villa, thoughtfully designed with two distinct living areas to provide both privacy and space. Nestled in the peaceful hills above Vence, the property offers spectacular panoramic views over the Côte d’Azur. The villa features a private swimming pool surrounded by beautiful scenery and only a five-minute drive from the boulangerie, shops, and local markets of Vence.


The villa, previously the main house of a flower farm, has been charmingly renovated in keeping with its traditional features and beautiful iron baulestrades shutters. The entrance hall leads into the light, spacious, double-aspect and high-ceilinged living and dining room with fireplace. Decorated with Mediterranean art in a holiday beach-theme with windows framing the gorgeous views which follow the changes in light across the Riviera. French doors open onto the main terrace leading to the garden and swimming pool.

To the right of the entrance hallway, there is a large, light, fully-equipped French kitchen with 4 door Cube fridge/freezer, premium range Lacanche cooker with gas oven and 5 burner hob, Nespresso machine and a ceiling fan. French doors open out onto one of two outdoor dining areas. The outdoor kitchen terrace has a table, seating 8-10 people, and a bamboo sun canopy to shade from the height of the summer sun with views out over the Riviera. Across from the beautiful 14.5 x 5 m swimming pool, with two alarms, is the cabana area with seating and a table and chairs for 8 to 10 people. Depending on where the sun is, both areas are perfect for al fresco breakfast, lunch, and dinner! There is also an outdoor shower, ping pong table and traditional BBQ.

On the first floor of the villa are three high-ceilinged double bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and 2 further bedrooms share a family bathroom.

Above the kitchen, up an external staircase with its own entrance, is a lovely renovated apartment with a double bed, modern kitchenette and shower room on the ground floor. On the mezzanine, there is an additional large single and one standard single bed. Due to the mezzanine's low ceiling it is only suitable to accommodate older children (not under 5 years old).

The villa is set in well-maintained flat lawned gardens with a beautiful swimming pool area from where guests can enjoy the stunning views. The swimming pool can be heated on request. There is secure parking for up to 4 cars.

In short, Mas du Baou is a property full of Provencal charm and the ideal hideaway on the Cote d'Azur. The bustling town of Vence with its markets, restaurants and bars is only a 5 minute drive away or a 35 minute walk. Nice Airport is 30 minutes and the beaches of Nice 40 minutes.
