This charming mountain hut is completely secluded on the edge of the forest of Stubnerkogel with a wide, breathtaking view over the Gastein Valley. Away from the everyday stress and hustle, friends and vacation groups experience carefree days amidst a unique panorama.

Rustic on the outside, so charming on the inside

The cozy hut appears very rustic from the outside and harmoniously blends into the unique mountain landscape with its old, dark wood.


The rooms have been partially renovated and equipped with new elements in a rustic style.
The old masonry of the hut and creaky wooden floors have been preserved, as well as the original wood stove in the comfortable kitchen.
The sauna with an exit to the outside is the highlight of this holiday home with a cabin character.

Your summerin the hut with family

Surrounding the mountain hut, you'll find pure nature, colorful flowering alpine meadows, or the snowy winter landscape. There are virtually unlimited opportunities for active vacationers and athletes to truly experience the mountains. Hikers, walkers, mountain bikers, or ski tourers can start directly from the hut. Whether with family or friends, this holiday hut is perfectly suited for spending time together.

With your skisto the door of the mountain hut

The Angertal descent leads right to the hut in good snow conditions. A run from the Schlossalm gondola and the Sommerkogel is also possible directly in front of the house (about 50 m) in good snow conditions. The slope is groomed, but unfortunately, the ascent is only possible from the valley station.

A trip to the summit of the Stubnerkogel, the local mountain, is always worthwhile: next to the 140 m long, gently swaying suspension bridge, there is a new, attractive viewing platform directly opposite, aptly named "Glocknerblick."

Tip: For all mountain enthusiasts: The house is ideally located for ski tourers - various routes start right outside the house. For relaxation, the Alpentherme Gastein: The thermal spa with the Relax and Family world forms the centerpiece of the Alpentherme Gastein. The thermal water comes from the depths of the Hohe Tauern.
