You are welcome to use the terrace, which is located one floor below, on the right-hand side.
On this floor there is also a second bedroom with a 1.60 m wide bed, which is available when booking for more than 2 people. A cosy reading corner rounds off the ambience.
Our "Heimelig" holiday flat is located in the beautiful Hochwald village of Schillingen, surrounded by forests.
You can explore the beautiful surroundings on well-signposted hiking trails, dream loops (Schillinger Panoramaweg) and cycle paths.
The holiday home is close to the Schillingen leisure centre with lake (also for fishing), excursion pub with children's playground, nature trail, tree labyrinth and barefoot path. The observation tower "Sieben-Köpfe-Blick" is also on the way there. An outdoor swimming pool can also be found in the vicinity.
Schillingen is about 36 km from the Luxembourg border, Trier (Germany's oldest city with world heritage site Porta Nigra) on the Moselle is about 23 km away by car. Excursions to Saarburg (with waterfall) or to the Saar Loop in Mettlach are also very worthwhile. The nearby Kell am See (approx. 4 km) is also worth a trip.
The village of Schillingen has a bakery, a fresh market, a sausage shop and a restaurant.
Of course there is parking space for your car in front of the house. Bicycles can also be stored in the garage on request.
