Nevertheless, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, swimming and golfing. The golf course at Schloss Pichlarn is just a few steps away. The Putterersee lake is in our immediate vicinity. It is the warmest alpine moor lake in Styria and an attraction on hot summer days. In winter, when the ice cover is closed, you can go curling or skate a few laps on it.
From Haus Elisabeth you can reach the Planneralm, Riesneralm and Tauplitz ski areas in just 20 minutes by car. The 4-mountain ski area of the Schladming-Dachstein vacation region is just a 30-minute drive away.
