Steinach am Brenner, the Wipptal and the surrounding scenic side valleys - Gschnitz- Obernberg-, Valser- and Schmirntal – are also an almost untouched area for tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and touring. About 100 kilometers perfectly prepared high-altitude trails await cross-country skiers. Also have many options but also shopping and culture lovers with Innsbruck (30 kilometers away) and the charming South Tyrolean shopping cities such as Sterzing (also about 30 kilometers from the Chalets).
