Ortschaften in der Umgebung, der Äthna (Tipp: geführte Tour; auch für Kinder erlebnisreich), Catania, Syrakus ... alles mit dem Auto (kleines Auto nehmen wg. der teilw. sehr engen Straßen) leicht und auch recht schnell erreichbar. Am späten Nachmittag: Tretbootfahren zur Isole die Ciclopi. Dort von den Felsen ins klare Wasser springen: toll!
Kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker, Fleischer, Fischhändler, Obst- und Gemüseladen sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
