Apartment Helios Duplex a due passi da Ortigia in Siracusa, Sicily

Design apartment a few steps away from Corso Umberto which leads to the magnificent Ortigia island.

The apartment is located on the first floor, reachable on foot, of a period building.
The entrance opens onto the spacious and bright living room, whose predominant color is yellow and which features a single sofa bed, an armchair, a TV, a dining table, in addition to the American and fully-equipped kitchen, which includes an oven, a dishwasher, a kettle, a microwave and a coffee machine. The room is decorated with three peculiar paintings which perfectly match with the decor of the room.
A staircase leads to the upper floor which houses a bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed, a dresser, a clothes rack, a mirror and a TV.
A beautiful marble bathroom with shower completes the apartment.
At guests’ disposal there will be comforts such as the air conditioning throughout the apartment, the free wi-fi and the central heating.

For relaxation and sea lovers, Eastern Sicily and the surroundings of Siracusa are the perfect choice. Leaving the ancient Greek city and going toward the south, the best equipped beaches worth a visit are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name is due to the natural sweet spring water and to the unique white sand. Then, on the island of Ortigia there are some equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno), as well as the free beach of Cala Rossa. Going further south, about 30 kms far away from Siracusa, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. For those looking for cultural and historical sites, it is recommended to visit Teatro Greco and its archeological site with the famous Orecchio di Dionisio (a limestone cave shaped as a human ear), the Museum Paolo Orsi, then the Latomie dei Cappuccini, and finally the island of Ortigia with its natural and historic eye-catching landscapes. Finally, our guests should visit the town of Noto, the seafront of Tonnara di Avola and the fisherman village of Marzamemi. Sicily is beautiful, a wild land with a millennial history impossible to forget at first glance, that will take a special space in your heart.

The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 65 km far away, while Comiso "Pio La Torre” airport is 110 kms far. Syracuse railway station is just 600 m away from the apartment.
