Rosa Rod was my grandmother's name. She was a master tailor and already had her own studio in the old town of Neustadt in the 1930s. In 1937, she and my grandpa built the 2-family house that is still in the family today.
The appartement is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, city strolls and much more. You can take the train to Mannheim, Kaiserserslautern or the regional train directly to Alsace.
The edge of the forest is 300m away from the house. The Neustadt train station and the old town can be reached in a good 10 minutes walk via the Hambacher Stairway.
