Description
In De Koog and Den Burg, there are plenty of supermarkets (including Aldi and Lidl) for restocking food supplies, as well as very nice shops for strolling and enjoying.
Fresh fish in many varieties is always available in specialty stores in Den Burg, De Koog, and at the harbor in Oudeschild. You can also eat there directly or take fish to go. I can assure you, survival on the island is guaranteed!
If it's possible for you to bring your own bicycles, it would be advisable. Texel is a wonderful cycling island, with kilometers of bike paths without car traffic. In the house, you will find maps with various routes for use. Otherwise, there are many bike rentals with bikes to suit every taste.
The drive from the ferry to our holiday home takes about 15 minutes.

Cancellation policy
Travel cancellation insurance (some insurance providers also offer protection in the event of a pandemic) is taken out by the tenant directly with an insurance company of their choice, if desired. While not a requirement, it can limit financial loss in case of necessary cancellation.
Our cancellation policy:
Cancellation up to 49 days before the start of the rental period: 20% of the rental price
Cancellation up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
Termination up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 60% of the rental price
Termination up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental price
Termination less than 14 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they are obligated to pay the full rental price.
A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The decisive date is the day the statement is received by the landlord.
Nevertheless, the landlord will attempt to rent out the property to someone else.

Getting there
If you are arriving by car, you will reach the ferry port in Den Helder from the direction of Utrecht by taking the exit Zaanstad near Amsterdam, then continue on the A7 towards Leeuwarden. Just before the Afsluitdijk, take the exit Den Oever/Den Helder. In Den Helder, the shortest way to the ferry is signposted.
Train/Bus
By train, travel to Den Helder. From Den Helder station, a bus (line 33) goes to the ferry port, providing a direct connection to the ship to Texel.
Your holiday begins in any case with the ferry boat. The crossing takes 20 minutes.
The half-hour crossing is enough time to start relaxing.
Then the best part can begin: vacation! Completely unwind.

Tolle Unterkunft
Anreisen, Auto abstellen und mit dem Rad die Insel auf super Fahrradwegen erkunden und in netten Dörfern etwas Essen gehen.
Der Garten und die Terrasse ist herrlich und der feinsandigen Strand nicht weit.

Ferienhaus mit allem was man braucht
Schon jetzt möchten wir uns bedanken, daß wir Ihr Haus Lilly mieten durften.
Das Haus ist schön gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch viel Informationsmaterial ist im Haus vorhanden. Ein richtig großer Garten mit Unterstell Möglichkeit für eigens mitgebrachte Fahrräder. Eine wunderbare Terrasse mit ausziehbarer Pergola. Zwei grosse Schiebetüren im Lichtdurchfluteten Wohnbereich. Selbst bei Fragen sind Sie sofort erreichbar.
Wir können jetzt schon sagen, wir fühlen uns mit unseren 2 Hunden hier sehr wohl

Texel Pur,
eine schöne Woche in Ihrem Ferienhaus Lilly ist leider zu Ende. Wir haben es sehr genossen in einem Ferienhaus zu verbringen, in dem es an Nichts fehlt. Bis ins letzte Detail ist an alles gedacht, was man für einen schönen Urlaub auf Texel benötigt. Wir waren schon mehrmals auf Texel in verschiedenen Häusern, aber Ihr Haus war in allen Belangen das Beste.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Wunderschönes Texel
wir waren eine Woche in Ihrem wunderschönen Ferienhaus und haben es sehr genossen. Das Grundstück ist schön groß und das Häuschen bietet alles was man braucht. Das Bad ist zwar sehr klein, aber dafür gibt es noch in jedem Schlafzimmer eine Waschgelegenheit. :-)
Die Ausstattung ist super. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die großzügigen Fensterflächen sorgen für einen lichtdurchfluteten Essbereich und bieten einen schönen Blick in den Garten.
Als Ausgangspunkt fanden wir es optimal. Spaziergänge nach DeKoog und zurück sind über Strand, Dünen und Wald sehr abwechslungsreich und gut machbar. Aber auch mit dem Fahrrad ist das kein Problem.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder auf diese schöne Insel und in Ihr hübsches Häuschen.

Urlaub zu Entspannen
Haus Lilly ist eine perfekte Unterkunft für Urlaub auf der Insel.
Der Bungalow war sehr sauber. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt nichts.
Für uns war richtig ein Platz wo wir unserer Fahrrader sicher abstellen könnten und
der Gartenhaus ist ideal.
Wir werden Haus Lilly weiter empfehlen und möchten auf jeden Fall Urlaub auf Texel
nochmal machen, am liebsten bei Haus Lilly.

Schöner Kurzurlaub im Herbst

Texel ist immer wieder eine Reise wert!
wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche auf Texel verbracht. In Ihrem sehr gemütlichen Ferienhäuschen haben wir uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir evtl. im nächsten Jahr wiederkommen werden! Das sagt ja wohl alles! Obwohl wir schon so oft auf Texel unseren Urlaub verbracht haben, entdeckt man immer wieder Neues.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal in Haus Lilly und kommen auch 2015 .... wieder
ich möchte auch einmal eine Bewertung schreiben.
Es gefällt uns immer sehr gut auf Texel und ganz besonders in ihrem Haus Lilly, wo wir in diesem Jahr zum 4. Mal sein werden.
Wir sind seit 2007 Wiederholungstäter und das wird auch so bleiben. Für den netten und freundlichen Kontakt mit ihnen bedanken wir uns ganz besonders.
