Description
Erected in 1848 as a farmhouse in the St. Veit (San Vito) district.
As early as the end of the 1950s, a small apartment was rented to holiday makers. At that time there was only cold running water, and therefore it was only suitable for the summer months.
In the sixties, through the installation of central oil heating, comfort was improved, and year-round rental begun.
In 1948, the northern part of the house was expanded. In 1966, the southern part was expanded as well, with 4 new guest rooms.
Fifty years later, in the summer of 2016, the house probably experienced the biggest renovation in its nearly 170-year history. The upper floor and attic were completely redone and adapted to contemporary use, without changing the external appearance. Even so, many of the old beams dating to 1848 were preserved in the new apartments.
