The traveler may arrange for another person to replace them in good time before the start of the trip. The following conditions apply:
– The other person fulfills all the conditions associated with the contract; and
– The conditions of the service providers involved in the execution of the contract do not preclude this replacement.
Article 5, paragraph 2
The registrant, the traveler, and the person replacing him/her are jointly and severally liable to the tour operator for the payment of the outstanding portion of the travel price, the change costs referred to in Article 4, Paragraph 1, and any additional costs incurred as a result of the replacement.
Article 6, Paragraph 1
Cancellation costs will be incurred if a travel contract is canceled. The following conditions apply to cancellations of contracts with Bos en Duin B.V.:
– for cancellations up to 42 days before the arrival date: only administrative costs (€49.50);
– for cancellations from the 42nd day (inclusive) to the 28th day before the arrival date: 30% of the travel price;
– For cancellations from the 28th day (inclusive) up to the 14th day before the arrival date: 60% of the travel price;
– For cancellations from the 14th day (inclusive) up to the 7th day before the arrival date: 75% of the travel price;
– for cancellations from the 7th day (inclusive) to the 1st day before the arrival date: 90% of the travel price;
– for cancellations on the day of arrival or later: 100% of the travel price.
Article 6, paragraph 2
The cancellation costs referred to in this article may not exceed the travel price.
Article 6, paragraph 3
If no cancellation is made but the traveler decides to send a replacement person, Article 5 applies.

From Den Helder, the ferry departs once an hour (at half past each hour) to Texel. During school holidays and on many Fridays, there is a ferry every half hour. For more information about departures and waiting times, please visit www.teso.nl. Reservations are not possible.
On Texel:
You can reach 'Bos en Duin' by driving from the ferry on Pontweg towards Den Burg. After Den Burg, at roundabout 11, turn left onto Rozendijk. After a few minutes, you will see our hotel on the left side.
