This stylish and spacious apartment is situated on the first floor of an 18th century old Palazzo directly at Lake Como. The 5 high windows offer an astonishing view on the lake and on the villages at the opposite lakeside. As a guest you can use the quiet and spacious (shared) garden which is also directly at the lake. The apartment is perfect for 2 –4 persons. The house is in Nesso, a quiet old village between Como and Bellagio.
The apartment (70 m2) consists of a spacious livingroom with kitchencorner (with 4 pit stove and oven), refrigerator, open fire place), a very big bedroom with balcony and a bathroom (shower, bidet and toilet). The apartment has 4 sleeps. Two in the matrimonial bed and two on a large and comfortable sofa bed. Both beds are in the bedroom. Characteristic elements of the house are still remained, such as the high ceilings (3.1 metres), the old Blackstone floor, and the antique fireplace. The bedroom has a wonderful woodfloor (parket).

If you are more than 4 people, please contact me, because there are two other apartments for rent in the Palazzo. One small studio on the ground floor and a big modern room right under the roof with 2 separate bedrooms.
Getting there
The palazzo is situated at a beautiful, charming, quiet spot. To reach this hidden spot you must walk a road through a pedestral area of Nesso. This part of the village is called ‘Castello’ because of a medieval castle on the top of the hill.
To reach the house you park your car at one of the public (safe) parkingplaces at the main road of Nesso and then you walk downward towards the lake. This walk is about 250 metres and I have to tell you that the road can be rather steep. If you want your car right next door, it is better not to rent this house. But if you have no problems with such a walk, you will be rewarded with a stay at a wonderful and unique spot in the middle of Italian life.

Heerlijke, ontspannen week!
Wij hebben een fantastische week gehad in jullie paradijsje.
Genoten van de rust, het meer, het uitzicht, de omgeving en de sfeer.
Even moeten wennen aan de vele trappen, de weg er naar toe maar hierdoor is onze conditie wel op peil gebleven.
Het enige minpuntje voor ons was dat we onze auto niet altijd dichtbij konden parkeren waardoor we soms een heel eind moesten lopen.
Verder alleen maar lof.
Genoten van de rust, het meer, het uitzicht, de omgeving en de sfeer.

Heerlijke week!
We hebben een heerlijke week in dit prachtige huis aan het Comomeer gehad. Het huis heeft hoge plafonds, mooi interieur en straalt sfeer uit. Het uitzicht is fantastisch! Wat ook prachtig is, is de ligging direct aan het meer. Onze kinderen van 6 en 3 jaar hebben elke dag hier meerdere keren gezwommen. De kinderen vonden het fantastisch om van een steen te springen. Bij het huis zit een grote (gedeelde) tuin, waar je heerlijk kunt liggen en een drankje kunt doen. De trappen zijn intensief, maar te doen. De kinderen beloonden we eenmaal boven met een ijsje en onszelf met een heerlijke cappuccino.
Wij zaten er in het hoogseizoen (augustus). Daardoor hebben we regelmatig lang moeten zoeken naar een parkeerplaats.

Fantastisch apartement op fantastische locatie
Wij verbleven een week met onze kinderen (9 en 14) en hond in dit prachtige appartement op deze waanzinnige locatie direct aan het Comomeer. Het appartement is stijlvol van nature, maar ook met smaak ingericht en is compleet uitgerust. Zelfs de pastamachine ontbreekt niet, dus die is gebruikt voor verse ravioli. De tuin buiten is mooi lang en wordt gedeeld met meerdere bewoners van het huis. Sommige bewoners hebben echter ook een prive tuin, waardoor wij eigenlijk altijd alleen zaten. Het voetpad naar de auto is een klim naar boven (70 hoogtemeters), maar goed voor je conditie... In het dorp zitten meerdere kleine supermarkten, waarmee je prima een week vooruit kan (neem rugzak mee). Wil je met verse vis of vlees koken, kan je beter voor aankomst inkopen doen.

Wir haben zum zweiten Mal eine Woche im Palazzo verbracht. Auch dieses Mal war wieder alles wunderbar!
Wunderschöner ruhiger Ort direkt am See
Wir haben eine entspannte und tolle Woche im Palazzo verbracht. Der Ausblick auf den See und die Berge ist phänomenal und die Wohnung ist großzügig mit allem ausgestattet. Vor dem Haus führt eine Treppe direkt in den See, so dass man jederzeit baden und in der Sonne sitzen kann. Im Garten stehen Liegestühle bereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
Wunderbarer Platz zum Wohlfühlen
Wir waren eine Woche im Palazzo mit unserer Tochter und unserer Hündin zu Gast. Der ganze Ablauf rund um die Buchung war super und wir wurden herzlich von Susi empfangen. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und es wirklich alles vorhanden, was man sich für einen entspannten Aufenthalt wünscht. Die Einwohner in Nesso sind allesamt äußerst zuvorkommend und sehr tierlieb. Zuerst wird der Hund begrüßt, dann die Menschen ;-). Ein toller Platz mit superschönem Garten direkt am Wasser.

Zauberhafte Ferien mit Hund am Comer See
Meine Schwester und ich durften zusammen mit unseren Hunden eine wunderschöne Woche in dieser zauberhaften Ferienwohnung verbringen. Die Lage des Palazzo mit dem traumhaften Garten und direktem Zugang zum See machen dieses Appartement einzigartig. Der Ausblick aus dem Fenster ist atemberaubend schön, die Inneneinrichtung sehr stilvoll und einladend. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an wohl gefühlt und wurden herzlich empfangen und umsorgt. Da wir sehr gerne sportlich aktiv sind und viel wandern waren die steilen Wege durch den Ort und die teils anspruchsvollen Wanderwege für uns kein Problem. Angesichts der angespannten Parkplatzsituation haben wir die Umgebung ausschließlich zu Fuß erkundet. Die Einwohner von Nesso waren außergewöhnlich tierlieb und freundlich.

Spontane Reise mit verlängertem Stop am Comer See
Es war einfach wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum und das Management rund um die Buchung und Anreise inkl Betreuung vor Ort sehr herzlich und professionell.

What a great experience, the people, the apartment , the location, the ambience were all exceptional. Halina's neighbours were great, Aldo and Suzi for picking us up from airport ( and return) and so friendly, Laura and Anita at the home restuarant .... What can I say ...fantastic! We swam in the lake, enjoyed dinner in the apartment and it was so easy to get to Como and other towns on the lake, either by ferry or bus...great experience and at reasonable cost. The steps to the apartment are a challenge if your are not fit but we enjoyed the challenge and it's not too bad and quite enjoyable to walk without any vehicle traffic to spoil your experience. Would I go back? .....absolutely don't stay in Como, don't stay in Bellagio ...stay in Nesso at this apartment!
One of the best places we ever visited
During a week in autumn we stayed in this incredible apartment. We loved the house for its big rooms, the classic and comfortable furniture, the amazing views on the lake (only 2 meters away) and not to forget the romantic fireplace! It is probably one of the best apartments we ever visited.
Nesso itself is a pearl. The non touristic village probably hasn't changed much for the past centuries. Como and Bellagio, good restaurants and other attractions are just around the corner. We definitely come back thanks!

Lovely honeymoon
We have just returned from our honeymoon in this beautiful part of the world and had the most incredible stay at this apartment. Spacious and cool and has beautiful views over the lake. Short walk up to the village and to the port where you can visit all the local villages. Just perfect.
I would highly recommend this to anyone. Halina who owns the apartment was incredibly helpful and as there was wifi in the apartment she said we could contact her at any point for any queries, she's lovely. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you so much

A dream
"Halina''s flat is a real wonder. It has everything you might dream of, in a peaceful village with a breathtaking view directly over the lake (you can listen to the water at night as a lullaby). Halina''s very helpful and her flat is furnished with great taste. Don''t miss the fireplace : it's old and very efficient (runs with a mysterious air system that prevents all smoke from escaping in the room). It''s probably preferable to have a car if you have young kids, but buses and boats are enough to spend a splendid time, even in winter."
