Getting there
Coming from Basel, take the St. Gotthard motorway to Locarno on the Swiss side of Lake Maggiore. For the trip to the west bank: continue over the border at Piaggio Valmara on the federal highway 34 along the shore of Lake Maggiore. For the trip to the east bank: cross the border at Zenna and then continue on the country road 394.
From Lindau (D)/Bregenz (A), take the S. Bernardino motorway to Locarno (CH) and then proceed as described above.
By plane:
The three airports Malpensa (MXP), Linate (LIN), and Bergamo (BGY) in Milan are served by almost all German airports. Malpensa Airport is the most conveniently located only 20 km from the southern part of the lake.

Nicht empfehlenswert! Sehr schlechter Zustand!
Wir haben diese Beschwerde gelesen, aber nichts Geschriebenes ist wahr.
1) Die Adresse war nicht falsch. die Wohnung befindet sich in via luigi rigola 29 verbania, wo wir unsere Büros haben.
2) Wie kann man nach nur 5 Minuten Besuch feststellen, dass eine 5-Sterne-Wohnung unbewohnbar war?
3) Wir haben entweder einen Parkplatz oder eine Garage zu geben, also ist es nicht wahr, dass der Parkplatz besetzt war.
4) Wir wurden nicht einmal gebeten, eine Alternative zu dieser Wohnung zu finden, weil der Kunde wortlos gegangen ist, er hat uns dann erst am 15. August 2022 (15. August) eine erste E-Mail geschrieben, in der er sich beschwert.
5) Unserer Meinung nach hatte er bereits andere Apartments gebucht, tatsächlich erschien er alleine, obwohl er für 4 Personen gebucht hatte.
Wir ziehen es vor, dass Kunden die Wahrheit sagen, anstatt Vorwände zu erfinden.
Wir wären am Liebsten geblieben
Klar ist es nicht wie im eigenen Haus, aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht und die Aussicht von beiden Balkonen ist fantastisch, das haben wir zu Hause nicht.
Der Schiffanleger ist in wenigen Minuten erreicht; empfehlenswert ist das Café "Sempione" - wenn wir uns dort hinsetzen, sind wir wirklich angekommen.
Die Betreuung durch das Ehepaar Gerosa ist sehr freundlich und völlig unkompliziert.
Nur die Dusche könnte besser abgedichtet sein, das Aufwischen ist etwas mühsam, aber das sind Kleinigkeiten. Trotzdem können wir uns kaum eine bessere FW vorstellen, sie passt einfach für uns.
Toll gelegene Wohnung sehr zentral

Supermarkt in 3min. zu Fuß, Lidl 8min. mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Jeden Samstag großer Markt gleich um die Ecke.
Privater Parkplatz und Tiefgaragenplatz am Haus.
Viele Ausflugmöglichkeiten: Villa Taranto, Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori, Villa pallavicino park, Macugnaga mit tollem Panorama auf das Monte Rosa Massiv (1,5h Fahrzeit).
Kostenloses öffentliches Seebad in der Via paolo Troubetzkoy 169 10 Autominuten.
Wenn wir wieder zum Lago Maggiore fahren, dann zu dieser Ferienwohnung.
