From the north: Take the Tauern motorway towards Villach (toll required). At Spittal/Millstätter See, continue towards Heiligenblut Grossglockner.
Or travel via Böckstein with the car shuttle to Mallnitz, then continue towards Heiligenblut.
From the west, you can reach Lienz via the Felbertauern Road, then take the B 107 Grossglockner federal road towards Heiligenblut.
The drive from Heiligenblut to the cabin is about 9km, of which 3km is a well-maintained gravel road for which snow chains are required in winter.
