from Milan take A1 direction Rome, exit at Firenze Impruneta, take highway to Siena, exit at Siena Sud take SS2 direction Buonconvento- Rome, take the road for about 45 Km and then follow the direction for Castiglione d'Orcia.

Was für ein unbeschreiblich schönes Kleinod inmitten des UNESCO Welterbes Val de Orcia, d.h. hoch über dem Tal mit weitem Blick nach Pienza und Montepulciano und im Tal die berühmten Heilquellen. Im Haus findet man alles, was es braucht für einen zauberhaften Toskana-Urlaub. Ein uriges Haus, fein renoviert und modernisiert, ohne den Spirit zu verändern. Das Dorf, in welches sich das Haus mit 4 Terrassen anschmiegt, ist gleichsam ein Idyll. Man glaubt, man macht eine Zeitreise ins Mittelalter. Toll auch, dass man trotz autofreie Zone als Gast eine Sondergenehmigung bei Anreise erhält, um ins Dorf fahren zu dürfen. Sehr eng, aber es geht, wer sich das zutraut . Am Brunnen an der Linde gibt es ein Restaurant mit typisch toskanischer Küche. Nicht verpassen! Netter Vermieter, nette Dame vor Ort - 10 Punkte!
