Getting there
Pitsidia is situated 70 km from Heraklion airport or the port of Heraklion.
Turn left at the cemetary, first left right before the restaurant Oneira/Traumfabrik. Turn first left after about 20 meter and drive for abour 100 meters, turn left after the field turn right after about 20 meters, Stonehouse Villa Cleopatra is to your right at the end of the cul-de-sac (second last house).
Or rent your car at 'kri-kri!, they will pick you up free of charge at the airport if you rent for at least 1 week and drive you to the house. At the end of your holiday, they will of course drive you back to the airport.

Es fehlt einem nix.
10 Tage waren wir Gast in diesem wunderschönem Haus. Von der Kaffeemaschine bis zur Waschmaschine ist alles vorhanden. Die Zimmer toll eingerichtet. Der Garten traumhaft und lädt ein zum verweilen auf einem der Terrassen. Der Pool ist das nächste high light. Nicht zu groß nicht zu klein genau richtig. Die Dachterrasse mit dem wundervollem Ausblick auf die Berge lässt ein nicht wieder los, besonders wenn die Sonne untergeht und der Schneegipfel in einem rotem Licht erleuchtet.
Der Service ausgesprochen toll und unkompliziert. Mit Englisch, Deutsch ,Händen und Füßen bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Wir können dieses Haus nur weiter empfehlen und wünschen den zukünftigen Mietern einen ebenso erholsamen Urlaub. Danke für die tolle Zeit.

I loved it...!
It was one of the greatest christmas holidays i've ever had...the house was wonderful and so cozy with a fireplace ,great for a couple as I went with my fiance ...! the location is also nice because it's close to matala where we went to have a coffee and spent some time relaxing...! Last but not least ,the owners are sooo helpful and polite, they helped us a lot...! I have already rebooked the house for our summer holidays...! I definitely recommend it...!
Entschleunigung in einem wirklich tollen Ferienhaus
Das Haus ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig, dennoch direkt im Dorf Pitsidia, wo man in ein paar Minuten zu Fuss mitten im Zentrum ist. Es gibt einige Mini-Markets, einen Bäcker, einige Tavernen.
Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Durch die Klimaanlage perfektes Wohlfühlen trotz grosser Hitze. Der Pool ist wirklich toll und sehr gepflegt, viele Sonnenliegen vorhanden.
Kompliment und Efcharisto an Manolis, unserem Gastgeber, ein sehr herzlicher, freundlicher Mensch. Ohne es zu bemerken kümmert er sich um einen sauberen Pool und die Pflanzen im Garten. Nach einer Woche Aufenthalt wurde das Haus wieder zwischengereinigt.
Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub im Haus verbracht und können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen.

immer wieder , einfach top!
Wir genießen das schöne Steinhaus mit dem wundervollen Blick auf das schneebedeckte Gebirge nun schon zum 3. Mal und können nicht davon lassen. Das Haus ist geräumig und sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet, und es fehlt einfach an nichts. Die verschiedenen Terrassen sind top, um je nach Wunsch sich für Sonne oder Schatten zu entscheiden. Neu dieses Jahr: der Pool im schön blühenden Garten, der vor allem unsere Kinder erfreut. Zum Strand ist es auch nicht weit, aber ohne Auto würden wir es nicht machen.
Einfach nur gemütlich ist das idyllische Dorf Pitsidia mit all seinen kleinen Tavernen und dem Flair auf dem Marktplatz. Überall nette Menschen, die sich über die Gäste freuen. Vom Steinhaus läuft man etwa 5 min bis zum Marktplatz.

Einer der Top Ten unserer bisherigen Urlaube; Freilufthimmelbett
Spätsommersonne, Dorfidylle, ersehnte Ruhe und Wasserspaß durch Pool am Haus und Meernähe haben wir zu dritt (Paar plus erwachsener Sohn) genießen können. Der Clou: ungestört schlafen unter freiem Sternenhimmel auf der großen Dachterrasse (obwohl das Haus genügend andere Schlafplätze bietet!). Zudem nette griechische Nachbarn und fürsorgende und zugleich diskrete Vermieter. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und wird incl. Pool gut saubergehalten.
Zusammen mit dem benachbarten Ferienhaus bietet sich auch ein Urlaub in größerer Gruppe an. Am Ende einer Sackgasse gelegen bleibt es eine individuelle Unterkunft, fern ab von Unterbringungsriesen,- die gibt es im Ort nicht.
Im Ort attraktiv: die Traumfabrik, in der Umgebung das Hippiedorf Matala und auch div. histor. Sehenswürdigkeiten.

family vecation in summer
my family and I went for vacation and our stay to this house was just perfect. the house is close to the sea and is very quiet, great for families. the house have a pool which is great for the kids. the village have nice restaurants with tasty food and very friendly people.

the house was better than I expected. it is in a very quiet neighbourhood. I totally recommend it. from the balcony you can see a very nice view also is close to the sea. my family loved it an we would like to go next year too. it is ideal for families with children, and not only.

the house is very beautiful and clean also and quiet. with a swimming pool and garden. its close to the sea about 15 min by car. its also close to archaeological places. the village has super market, bakery, restaurants. the weather at summer is very nice for a walk or to go swimming at the beach or at the swimming pool. we had a great time we liked the place and we hope to go back soon.
Schoener Fruehling auf Kreta
Das Haus erwies sich als sehr sauber mit einer schönen Raumaufteilung. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Der Pool wurde stets sauber gehalten. Die Betten hatten für Griechenland sehr gute Matratzen in denen wir gut geschlafen haben. Das kleine Dörfchen hat einen charmanten Dorfkern und es gibt schöne Tavernen. Zum Komostrand kann man in 15 Minuten hin laufen oder man nimmt sich eins von 6 Fahrrädern die man für 5 Euro am Tag mieten kann.
Countryside Experience.
Amazing friendly people through out the village with tasty food and good weather. The villa owners where very helpful and went out of their way to accomodate us. We took our bikes and went to Matala and other villages near by. The villa was brand new, very clean with a newly installed pool. Check out the view from the balcony . You can see the Psiloritis mountains. My wife loved the Mizithropitakia with honey.KInda of cheese pie but cheese was not sweet. Do try.
How we enjoued the vacation
I came with my husband and my two kids in Cleopatra and we had an amazing time. The villa is very comfortable and brand new. The owners are very nice and friendly. The house is in the village with great view. We enjoyed our own private pool and the nice garden view in front of the house. Very relaxing and beautiful.!
Great stay in a great house in a gorgeous village
We searched for somewhere in Pitsidia to stay and found this fantastic house online. Can't recommend it enough. Lovely comfortable stay and it would be easily big enough to cater for five if needed. The pool was a real bonus - believe me, even in March the weather here is warm enough for a swim. Pitsidia is a gorgeous village in a very historic area of south Crete with so much to see and do. Unbeatable walking country and the beaches all over the area are beautiful. The Cleopatra stonehouse may be almost brand new, but it has the feel and look of a traditional Cretan stonehouse. Fantastic facilities and great furnishings. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for a stay at any time of the year.
