Getting there
Via the A7 to Groningen, take a turn at Europaplain in Groningen towards Winsum/Bedum and then stop in Aduard. Buitenpost, and then take the Dokkum junction. From Dokkum continue towards Holwerd –Ameland.
By taxi / bus:
Once you are on the island of Ameland, you can either take the bus or a taxi. These are available from the Nes terminal.
If you are planning on coming by bus, please ask the driver if he stops at 'De Witte Reep' or 'Lange Dunen'. Alternatively, you can get off at 'Kaasboerderij', and continue for 1 km towards the north.
By car:
From the ferry, turn left at the roundabout, and continue towards Hollum. Once you have passed Ballum, turn right at the first path.
