It is only approx. 1.5 km to the center of Plau with its picturesque old town. The charming and very popular climatic health resort with an imposing lift bridge and a castle tower with ramparts is located on the western shore of Germany's seventh largest lake and offers the best opportunities to get to know the regional delicacies of the region thanks to its numerous restaurants and cafés. The Müritz Fish Days take place from the end of September to mid-October, and fish lovers will get their money's worth here.
