Die Gegend am Lago Magiore ist ruhig. Das Dorf hat einen schönen Grasstrand am See. Es ist zwar etwas weit mit der Fähre zu den Touristenattraktionen, aber es hat sich gelohnt, und es war schön, den gesamten See so zu sehen. Von Laveno aus kann man mit der Fähre in die größeren Städte übersetzen. Laveno ist eine halbe Autostunde von diesem Ferienhaus entfernt.
