Wonderful room situated in an annex of a liberty-style villa, a few steps away from Mondello beach.
This lovely double bedroom (which can accommodate a third guest upon request) is situated in a quiet part of Villa Ammirata, a liberty-style villa from the beginning of the 20th century. Located on the ground floor, is very cosy and boasts exposed wooden beams and a window overlooking the garden of the villa. It comes with a queen-sized bed, a wardrobe, a small breakfast table and a console table where guests will find a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and all the necessary to prepare breakfast. It also comes with a large en suite bathroom with shower and offers many comforts such as air conditioning, a small fridge and free Wi-Fi.
At guests' disposal an amazing patio, shared with the villa, where different relax areas have been created with sofas, tables and chairs.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the country and the capital of Sicily, offers plenty of wonderful Unesco heritage sites that can be visited in the four historic districts of the city. In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire prominent buildings, streets and squares.
The bus stop is 50 m away for connections to/from Palermo. Here guests will also find free shuttles to Mondello beach (from June to September), even though it is only 600 m away on foot. A pleasant walk along the boulevard and its villas.

Great. Superb location just right in the heart of Mondello. Not far from the beach. Got everything you need, a beautiful garden and an impressive villa building from a few years past when the area was developed by a Belgian real estate development company. The host is very nice, served us breakfast a couple of times during our stay. And, she’s got a lovely 11 year old dog, she’s super sweet and greets to each morning or whenever you enter the property. I’d stay there any time again.

Villa Ammarita to naprawdę piękne i przyjemne miejsce. Właścicielka Ornella jest niezwykle sympatyczna i pomocna. Przywitała nas pysznymi sycylijskimi cannoli, co było bardzo miłe. A pies Maya tylko umil nam pobyt w tym niesamowitym miejscu z pięknym ogrodem. Plaża znajduje się bardzo blisko, zaledwie około 10/15 min na piechotę. Ornella poleciła nam pyszne restauracje w okolicy. Mondello to idealne miejsce na wakacje, które jest dobrze skomunikowane z centrum Palermo.

Wir haben ein paar Tolle Tage in der Villa Amirata verbracht. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Es hat uns alles wirklich super gefallen! Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft mitten einer schönen Gegend in Mondello, mit einem traumhaften Garten in dem man sich wohlfühlen kann und am Morgen gemütlich in der Sonne frühstücken kann. Die Unterkunft hatte wirklich alles was das Herz begehrt und die Gastgeberin hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Sie war wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Ein Highlight war ihr wirklich ganz lieber und süßer Hund der einen immer schon morgens begrüßt hat. Auch die Lage war perfekt. Nur ein paar Gehminuten bis zum Strand von Mondello und einiger toller Restaurants. Auch Palermo war mit dem Bus nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Die perfekte Unterkunft für einen Strand und City trip. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr sehr wohl gefühlt.

The villa was beautiful, the hosts were extremely generous (bringing us pastries every morning for breakfast!) though do note that as English speakers with not a lot of Italian, the communication barrier was really significant which caused some issues. The room is very nice and well-equipped with comfy (if very squeaky!) bed, air-conditioning and ensuite. The bathroom facilities are good though the hot water reserve seems a bit small, and everything was nice and clean. One thing that we wish we'd known in advance was that the WiFi - coming from the main house - does not extend into the room. In order to connect, we had to sit outside in the villa's garden. Whilst the garden is beautiful and the WiFi we could get there was functional enough, we felt disappointed that this amenity had been misrepresented and had to adapt to very limited connectivity and none at all once we were in the room. Overall, though, the room was lovely, and we had a very happy holiday!
