Holiday home for 2-6 people in Medemblik on the Ijsselmeer, Holland

We stayed at Haus Birgit in the fall and felt right at home. The proximity to the beach is particularly great! A great house for families with dogs who like fishing or want to explore the area in their own boat.

Location: the holiday complex is located on sailing and fishing waters, near the town of Medemblik on the Ijsselmeer - an Eldorado for water sports enthusiasts and anglers. Each bungalow has its own jetty.

Furnishings: On the ground floor there is the hallway with guest toilet and storage room, as well as the spacious living room facing the water, dining area with open kitchen (4-burner gas stove, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, microwave), satellite TV.

Open, typically Dutch steep staircase to the upper floor (not suitable for older 2 or 4-legged people): 1 bedroom with double bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds. The bedrooms have new laminate flooring. Bathroom with tub and 2nd toilet, terrace, garden furniture, car. Own boat mooring

Parking a few meters from the house.

Park facilities: subtropical swimming pool with children's pool, whirlpool, solarium, 50m long slide, bicycle and canoe (boat) rental, playground, tennis courts, restaurant.

The house is rented privately, so some of the holiday park's facilities and events cannot be used. Wi-Fi available.

"Fiffi"ge criteria: We are very welcome here!!! Fenced garden around the house down to the water!

Attention: The dog can swim in the canal, but needs help getting in and out, as the water drops steeply from the garden. Swimming is possible on the beach (in the morning and evening in high season) about 3 minutes' walk from the house.

The IJsselmeer is ideal for four-legged friends who love swimming.

Surroundings: From your bungalow you can take a boat to the various recreational areas in the area (e.g. Egboetswater, the Streekbos forest, the Grote Vliet lake area). Even the city center of Medemblik is accessible by boat. A historic town with a pedestrian zone invites you to go window shopping. Various museums invite you to visit (steam engine, bakery and flour museum). The restored "Raadboud" castle, the late Gothic buildings, restaurants and much more make your vacation an experience. The harbor or beach are 150 - 350 m away.
