Cancellation by the renter
The renter is at any time entitled to withdraw from the rental contract. The cancellation notice will be effective once it is received by the lessor. In order avoid any discrepancies later on, it is strongly recommended to do this in writing (letter, email)! If the renter cancels up to 12
weeks prior to arrival, there are no costs involved. In case a deposit was paid,
the amount will be refunded. If the lessee cancels after the aforementioned 12 weeks, the host may, in accordance with Clause 651j BGB, request a reasonable compensation on behalf of the lessor. Compensation payment: up to 90 days prior to arrival - 25% of the total rental price;
up to 60 days prior to arrival - 35% of the total rental price;
up to 30 days prior to arrival - 50% of the total rental price;
later than that or in case of a no-show: 100% of the total rental price.

Holiday destination
This holiday home is a charming old farmhouse. It is not really perfectionist, but rather vibrant after the completed renovation with natural building materials and great attention to detail.
We like it when materials age with grace.
In the garden, the outdoor area around the house and at/in the river you'll see wildlife such as kingfishers, wild geese, herons, cormorants, seagulls, ducks, crows, insects / bees, dragonflies, spiders, wasps and butterflies but luckily hardly any mosquitoes!!
Getting there
Only 60 km from Cologne, 90 km from Düsseldorf and 50 km from Bonn, the most beautiful section of the Sieg river; in the heart of the nature park Bergisches Land you'll find the recreation area 'Windecker Ländchen' and our holiday home.

Wunderschöner Kurzurlaub am Rande der Sieg
Tage wie in einer anderen Welt
Frühstück. In der Sonne gelesen. Das Wasserrauschen der Sieg ist unglaublich kontemplativ. Abends mit dem Kinderpulk gegrillt. Nochmal schwimmen bzw mit dem SUB raus, dann Sauna oder Waffelessen am Kiosk ( umgebauter Zirkuswagen). Ehrlich? Ich wollte da nie wieder weg.
Ein echter Traum!
