The villa has recently been completely restored.

The charming holiday home is located in the middle of the medieval village of Sassorosso in Garfagnana and offers a very pleasant climate even in midsummer.

It offers a wonderful panoramic view of the typical Tuscan landscape and the surrounding Apuan Alps.

The property is an excellent destination for a relaxing holiday. It invites you to take day trips to Viareggio or the famous beaches of Versilia or to explore the Garfagnana region with its enchanting villages and wonderful landscapes.

The holiday home is also an ideal starting point for hikes and walks (the Orecchiella Nature Park is recommended) and other outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, horse riding, mountain biking, etc.

Interior:

The holiday complex has been lovingly restored using the original building materials terracotta, wood and natural stone in the typical Garfagnana style and traditionally furnished with antique furniture.

With 300 m², it offers plenty of space for 13 people, who can be accommodated in 5 bedrooms.

Guests enter the house via a large panoramic terrace, the entrance leads to the two wings of the house.


The left wing consists of two floors:

On the ground floor there is a living room with a sofa and an armchair and a decorative fireplace. From here you have a wonderful view of the beautiful red marble courtyard and the medieval village.

Also on this floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a large bathroom en suite with a bathtub.

From the living room a staircase leads to the upper floor with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both rooms use the adjoining bathroom with a spacious shower.

From here you can access the rear garden through a French window where there is a pool and dining area.


The second wing also consists of two floors:

On the lower floor there is a large, bright room in which the open kitchen with a small pantry, the dining area with a large wooden table for up to 13 people and the living area with a comfortable sofa, a coffee table and the fireplace corner are integrated. This room is connected to the garden via a large glass door, giving you quick access to the pool and dining area.

From this floor you can reach the upper floor via a stone staircase. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a second bedroom with three single beds, also with an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

From this room you can enter the garden through a French window and enjoy the beautiful view of the Apuan Alps.


Outdoor area:

The quiet country house is located in a 300 m² terraced garden.

On the entrance level there is the large panoramic terrace at the front of the house, which is equipped with a parasol, deck chairs and comfortable outdoor furniture. At the back of the house there is a spacious garden that extends over several levels.

On the first level you look out onto an area paved in red marble with garden chairs, a shade-providing parasol and a large table for a maximum of 13 people, ideal for al fresco dining.

On this level there is also the swimming pool with whirlpool (10x4m; 1.4m deep) with a lawn and outdoor shower and a fountain from which water flows into the pool.

A red marble staircase leads to the sun terrace, where additional parasols and deck chairs are available. From here guests have a breathtaking panoramic view of the village and the Apuan Alps.

The road that goes right up to the property is asphalted and easy to drive on, also suitable for sports cars or bicycles. There are sufficient parking spaces a few meters from the house.

Please note:

The holiday home is only rented exclusively. This means: the entire house, the garden and the pool are available to guests for their sole use.

Typically rented from Saturday to Saturday. If you would like to book differently, please ask.
