Due to special circumstances, the landlord may be forced to cancel or terminate the rental contract. Cancellation or termination must be done in writing. In this case, the landlord will do their utmost to offer the tenant an alternative. If this is not satisfactory to the tenant, the landlord will refund all amounts paid by the tenant, without further liability of the landlord.
The tenant is entitled to cancel or terminate the rental agreement in accordance with the following provisions.
The cancellation or termination must be done in writing to Schoonzicht Holiday.
If cancellation occurs within 8 days of booking, the option right becomes effective. (see section on option rights).
For cancellations after 8 days and up to three months before the start of the rental period, 15% of the net rent will be charged.
If you cancel between three months and one month before the start of the rental period, 50% of the net rent will be charged.
For cancellations up to one month and one week before the start of the rental period, 75% of the net rent will be charged.
Cancellations made less than one week before the start of the rental period will be charged the full net rent.
The administrative costs are always due in the event of a cancellation.
Upon receipt of a cancellation by the tenant, the landlord will issue a cancellation invoice taking into account the provisions of this article. Amounts already paid will be settled according to the content of the cancellation invoice, and the remaining balance will be refunded in favor of the tenant.
