In the far south of the Netherlands, in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen near the Belgian border, you will find this quietly located, tastefully furnished nature house on a former farm. The house is suitable for six people and is situated at the end of a dead-end street that transitions into a seven-kilometer walking path along the town walls.

Located to the south of Aardenburg, this nature house rests on the remnants of 17th-century fortifications, offering views of the city walls dating back to 1299 and the rural landscape south of the town. Peace, space, and breathtaking views make this an ideal spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing holiday in this beautiful region. The area is perfect for walking and cycling, with many cross-border paths winding through the landscape.

Aardenburg is an excellent base for day trips in Zeeuws- and Belgian Flanders. The western Zeeuws-Vlaanderen coast (Cadzand) is about 15 kilometers away, and the chic seaside resort of Knokke-Heist is approximately 18 kilometers away. Cities like Bruges (20 kilometers) and Ghent (40 kilometers) and even Adinkerke near the Belgian-French border, home to the famous theme park Plopsaland, are within an hour’s drive from Aardenburg. Golf courses can be found in Oostburg (nine kilometers) and Knokke. Food enthusiasts will enjoy the many culinary delights in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and Flanders. You could visit a snail farm, an ostrich farm between Aardenburg and Sluis, an asparagus farm in Eede, a horse dairy in Oostburg, or a trout farm in Breskens.

On the ground floor, you’ll find the hallway, living and dining room, bathroom with shower, a toilet, the cellar, and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a freezer, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, extractor fan, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, ironing board, and iron. A washing machine and dryer are also available.

The first floor features four bedrooms: two with double beds and two with single beds. One of the bedrooms includes a sink with hot and cold water. Additionally, there is a second toilet on this floor. Surrounding the house is a large garden. The property includes a garage for storing your car and/or bicycles. The garden is furnished with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. WiFi is also available.
