Description
‘Cocheira’ means ‘carriage house’, which was the former function of this beautifully located beach house close to Praia Grande, one of the beautiful beaches of Ferragudo. The carriage house used to belong to the neighbouring Castle of Ferragudo. However, in the last century, the carriage house has been split from the castle and has gotten its own independent purpose. In 2016, the current owners started the transformation of the carriage house into a luxury villa - Cocheira Beach House. The result of this transformation is a unique beach house at just 2 minutes walking distance to the beach and 5 minutes to the centre of Ferragudo.

Bedrooms
The luxury beach house has 4 en-suite bedrooms at the ground level, the other 4 are on the first floor. There is one bedroom with a fixed double bed and the other bedrooms have two single beds made up as double beds. These beds can be made up as singles if you wish.
Kitchen
You can find everything you can think of, in this well-equipped kitchen: a large induction hob, wine fridge, double hot air oven, filter and coffee cup machine. You name it, Cocheira Beach House has it! The large dining table will fit you all!
The open space large lounge has ample comfy places to sit and relax, listen to the Sonos music system, or watch a movie on the large smart TV.
The large mezzanine, which functions as a relax area, shows a great view of the kitchen and the living room. The spacious entrance of the villa provides access to the mezzanine and consists of a guest bathroom. From the living room, you can access the large garden with a high diversity of fruit trees. A beautiful terrace is located on the left side of the villa.

The walled garden of the villa has private parking up to 4 cars. There is a large wooden deck with dining table, chairs, lounge area and shade, looking over the garden and private pool. For the barbecue masters, there is a large gas bbq to grill the nicest steaks and the best fish!

Due to the covid situation, we are flexible in terms of the cancellation policy. In the case of non-permission to travel (orange code) or quarantine obligation imposed after the reservation is placed, we do not charge anything.
Normal cancellation policies are as follows:
1. In case of a booking cancellation in the period from confirmation of the booking up to 6 weeks before the arrival date, you are entitled to a refund of 50% the prepayment.
2. In case of cancellation 6 weeks (42 days) or less prior to arrival date, the client is not entitled to a refund of the rental amount.
