Villa Lu Nidu di lu Colbu in Costa Paradiso, Sardinia

Bordering a nature reserve and nestled within a park-like property of 5,400 m², the exclusive villa "Lu Nidu di lu Colbu" is situated in a dreamlike secluded location with a living space of 150 m² and a large pool. Surrounded by bizarre rocks, wild fragrant maquis, tall trees, oleander bushes, bougainvillea, and many terracotta pots and bowls with flowers, this expansive estate in a quiet location invites you to interesting and relaxing holidays. The villa, harmoniously integrated into the surrounding rocky landscape by the renowned architect Alberto Ponis, offers a magnificent panoramic view from its mountain location (about 200 meters above sea level) of the rugged beauty of the Costa Paradiso's rocky coast, the shimmering blue Gulf of Asinara, as far as Corsica, and over the Sardinian highlands.

The spacious living area with a fireplace and a cozy seating group is very tastefully furnished and has two large panoramic sliding doors onto covered terraces. A wide staircase leads to the higher dining room with a round table and a hand-carved Sardinian dresser. The room-wide sliding door here offers particularly impressive views of the spectacular sunsets over the Gulf of Asinara. Next to the dining room is the fully equipped designer kitchen. An interior window offers views of the living room, terrace, and pool. A gong can be used to call everyone from the extensive grounds to the table. An exterior door leads to the pantry, a chamber with the washing machine, to the courtyard, and to the covered dining area.

The sleeping area consists of 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed, and one with two single beds side by side. All rooms have wide French doors and their own terrace. An exterior door leads to the courtyard.

The two bathrooms (one of them en suite) are equipped with a shower, toilet, bidet, and built-in sinks.

Each room is on a different level. With ceiling heights of 4.00 to 5.00 meters in all living and sleeping areas, there is a pleasant indoor climate throughout. Insect screens ensure a peaceful sleep. Many paintings, selected lamps, and Sardinian handicrafts give the house a cozy atmosphere.

In the charming, wind-protected courtyard, which concludes with the house mountain, there is an outdoor fireplace with a charcoal grill, comfortable garden furniture, and a sun umbrella. A large holm oak, terracotta bowls with prickly pears on the flat roofs, many flowers and cacti, and romantic lighting in the evening invite you to linger comfortably.

A natural stone staircase leads to the secluded swimming pool area with a large sun and shade terrace, nestled in Mediterranean maquis. The covered pergola with a table and benches made of natural stone offers cool shade. A rustic rock shower (hot and cold water) provides cooling before jumping into the pool (Infinity system, approx. 12.00 m x 6.00 m, underwater spotlights). Sun loungers and a sun umbrella, surrounded by many colorful flower cushions in terracotta pots, invite you to relax. In the evening, indirect lighting, illuminated rocks, and lanterns with candles create a mood-filled atmosphere.

Hidden under pines and tall strawberry trees, there is a picnic spot made of natural rocks. A tour through the refuge offers many interesting surprises.

The villa is located at the end of a road. From the covered private parking with two spaces, a gently ascending natural stone path leads to the house under a shady coniferous alley.
