Description
The name "Eisenlehen" came up, because iron was here produced and processed.
The residential building was always extended and modified over the years. In the second half of the year 2008, we renovated the building by investing much expenses and love. We removed the architectural mistakes that were made during the last renovation in the 1960s and gave the house its own character back, that it deserves due to its age. So the removed wooden ceilings that were taken away in the 60s were reattached. The doors inside were copied from the original doors in the baroque style. The walls were pargetted with the original material. In addition to that, we combined the today comfort with the traditional, old architectural style. So we did not create an everyday object, but an elegant interior combined with the old style which makes a unique mixture.
The vacation house has three levels, so there is enough room to accommodate 8 people. There are several living areas to offer different entertainment possibilities.
There are also two further adjoining buildings on the property. One is being used as a storage and the second, former wooden guesthouse with a bedroom, small living room, kitchenette and toilet can be rented additionally. There is also a carport for two vehicles that can be used from our guests. Amidst the big garden is a pavillon.
A garden with a size of 3500 sqm belongs to the property. It is fenced, so you can bring your dogs on request. There is an old tree population, a biotope, several ponds and flower beds. The garden creates a spacious atmosphere and makes you feel comfortable - just as the house.

Getting there
Coming from Munich, take the A1 towards Vienna and leave it about 30 km behind Salzburg via the exit Thalgau to take the highway Salzkammergut along the romantic lakes Fuschel and Wolfgang up to Bad Ischl and finally to Bad Goisern.
Coming from Passau or Linz, also take the A1 towards Salzburg and use the exit to Regau. Take the highway B 145 (Salzkammergut highway) along the picturesque lake Traun to Bad Ischl and then to Bad Goisern. You will reach your destination 40 minutes after leaving the motorway.
